I’m taking the job.

I feel like I’m giving up on 8 years invested in a relationship, but I don’t think there’s anything worth saving at this point.  Last night as I lay in bed, I tried to come up with all the reasons I should stay in town and I couldn’t think of a good one.  Joe still acts like he doesn’t care.  I want to believe he does and just doesn’t know how to say it, but I’ve given him plenty of opportunities to express himself.

Guess it’s time to start preparing for the next phase of my life…
