“Rotten” Advice

the title is two fold. but the only one you need to be concerned with is… this is rotten advice, only because i have such a hard time taking my own advice.
have you ever noticed that the people in your life seem to go through similar stuff to yourself? then they wanna come to you for advice and its like God is saying "are you listening to yourself?" " i had them come to you so you could help them and you, since you wont listen to me." well, if you dont it seems like that with me. someone always comes to me with wats goin on in their life and it mirrors my own. then i try to give them advice only to realize that i need to practice wat i preach. its not that i’m a hypocrite or anything.i mean i believe that my advice will truly help them, but it really is easier to give advice then to take or follow it.now onto the advice…
i give this advice to a lot of my friends and it truly applies to almost any and every situation.
remember… (it sounds easy, but trust me its not)
1.  it is ok to be and want to be happy.
2. the only person that can make you happy is you. i kno people want to and try to, but in the end its up to you if your happy.
3. no matter what is goin on in your life dont ever stop praying (just talk to God like you talk to your bestfriend and pour your heart out to him, he’s waiting for you to do that… so that he can come to your aid. because wat happens is we forget about him when things are goin good [or at least it seems they are] ) and Trust God…
4. the battle for happiness, contentment, jot, and peace all start in your mind and works its way to your heart. after that its got you, so all you see is the negative and wats not and wat should be and wat could be.

5. i kno it sounds do old and school and grown up, but you really have to check the people you are surrounding yourself with.it really does make a difference.
we’ll stop there. i think is a good start to helping all of us get back to where we want and aught to be. HAPPY!!! i mean who doesnt want to be happy? (even though sometimes i think i wont allow myself to be happy or that maybe i’m not suppose to be happy, i’m just suppose to make sure all those around me are happy.)  the important thing  in all that i wrote above is to never stop praying and trusting God. i have never seen prayer fail. but the bible sayd that if you are going to pray you must pray believing God to answer that prayer. ( Mark 11:24-26 READ IT!!!)
