Every night needs to be like this one
Mom and Ginny came over to the place I was houesitting this morning. They brought breakfast, and we sat out on their awesome back porch, it was so nice!
After that, we went in and watched HGTV, and some movies, then Luke called me, he got the day off!! I met him down at Costco, and we picked up some stuff for lunch, and a bottle of wine for later… ~s~ (Too bad they weren’t able to get the hot tub filled for me!!) He also brought me flowers!! I so do love being spoiled!!
We watched a movie, then I was flipping through channels, and finding stuff that mom and Ginny wouldn’t want to watch. Mom was all, no, not that! And I said, well, if I leave it on HGTV, you’ll never leave!! I didn’t want to be too rude about it, but it’s like come on, I don’t get to see my boyfriend that often right now, and I want to get him naked!! ~L~
Finally, they did actually leave! Then I was in the process of tearing his clothes off when I hear mom hollering at me from the bottom of the steps! Sheesh!! Luckily, they weren’t coming back into the house, she was just telling me that they were going to look at the glass blowing studio that the people I house-sit for have in their garage. Since the garage is under the house, we waited until they left before we got back to business! ~L~
That night, we sat up talking in the livingroom, some nice calm jazz in the back ground while we sipped wine. Since we were talking about it, we decided to take a look on-line at the classifieds for appartments so we could get a feel for what kind of stuff is avaliable and at what price. We also looked through the employment section for me, I was reading one for a job at the paper, basically a reporter position, and I’m all, oh, that sounds good! Luke said, yeah, I thought you might like that one… I’m all, oh? You’ve all ready been looking for a job for me? He’s like, um, yeah… ~grin~ I think that’s really sweet. I mean not only has he thought about us moving in together, but he’s gone so far as to look at employment ads for me!
After that, we settled back down on the couch, all cuddled up with our wine and the jazz in the back ground, talking about what kind of appartment would best suit us and how great it would be to see each other all the time. ~s~ We’re so corny sickly sweet in love, it’s fabulous!
