Disappointment

Today I was really looking forward to spending some time with my aunts and uncles and cousins.  I went over to dads this morning, expecting that we’d have breakfast, then go to my aunt’s house for the easter festivities.  Instead, we sat around watching tv for 3 freaking hours.  I finally had to leave so that I’d be able to get back to Wenatchee before it got too dark.  It really pissed me off actually.  I should have just said, well hey, I’m going to go over there!  I mean the biggest bonus with going over easter weekend was that I was going to get to do some of the family stuff too! ~pouts~

That’s really the thing I miss the most since my parents split.  When I was growing up, every holiday was spent at my grandma’s house, and most all of dad’s side of the family was there, along with at least a few other family friends.  Setting the table meant pulling out at least 15 plates.  I miss seeing my aunts and uncles and all my cousins.  It was always so much fun.  I guess next time I’m going to have to make seperate plans to go see all of them.
