Birthday Extravaganza *day one*

*This entry has been edited to include a few more details, and some fun pictures!!

This morning I got woken up a lot earlier than I expected. Mom came in and told me the guys were coming to pull out the stumps, so I shouldn’t be standing in front of the window naked! (Since I’ve all ready done that on two other occasions!) Our stumps got pulled out today, so we have a stump free back yard! It’s so nice looking!! Some pictures:

Here they are being pulled out.  See the kids from the day care in the back ground? They were having a blast watching this!  It was so cute!

This is what it looks like now!  Hopefully, in a few months, I’ll have an even better picture to show you guys where it resembles a nice back yard!

Aside from that, I cleaned a lot, since I didn’t get as much done durring the week as I’d planned.  I talk about cleaning a lot, but aparently, I don’t really get a lot done!  Today though you cen tell the difference, since there were people coming over, so it had to be presentable.  Though later I have to remember where I stashed all the random junk that was laying about!  It reminds me of when I was in college, and I had this date, and planning that I’d invite him in after the date, I cleaned.  I didn’t have time to do the dishes though, so I stuck them in the oven! ~L~ And no, this story doesn’t come with a follow up of me turning on the oven and melting my plastic cups!!

Mom and I played cards for a while, actually, too long, because later, I was tired, and I had thought, oh, I’ll have all this time to take a nap and clean and take a shower and get ready and blah blah blah, but no such luck!  I was running to the store about 15 minutes before people were supposed to show up!   I got all this ice and soda and some tortilla chips, and $53 in alchohol.  Luckily, no one was on time, so I was able to take a shower!!

I invited about 12 people, but only 4 came.  It’s ok though, because we laughed our asses off and had a great time.  I made a picture of long island iced tea.  Last weekend, I paid $7 for a long island, in a small glass!  So the $53 I spent was well worth it for 5 of us to have about 3 big drinks, and still have quite a bit left over!  (Yet another reason I like staying home and hanging out with friends better than going to a bar!!)

We made lasagna, some veggie bread (You flatten out those tubes of crecent rolls on a greased cookie sheet, bake that, then when it’s cool, mix together sour cream and cream cheese along with some dill and spread it on the bottom, then top it with tiny cut up pieces of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and sugar snap peas.  It’s super yummy and VERY addicting!!)  We also had 2 bags of chips, 4 bottles of soda, 8 bottles of booze, and cake!  I planned for about 12 people, and only had half that many!

Here’s my cake:

Ok, so I’m actually 29, but no one really needs to know that right?? ~L~ (Mom let me fill out the order form for the cake!!)

My favorite Carrie hiding behind my flowers:

She works in the floral department, so she always looks kinda like that… ~L~

My little cutie pie Tawnee:

I caught her half blink, it is funny though that she looks like she just drank that many shots!

Me and mom by my cake:

I kept putting the baloons around my head… ~L~

sounds like a blast! I prefer to stay home also. It’s a much more relaxed situation. And the girls aren’t being sluttyfied trying to get hit on. So it’s good.

Bonne fete a toi! 😀
