Random Boredom

Today (well, officially yesterday, the 1st) was Maggie’s 4th birthday!  I can’t believe she’s 4 all ready!  I was going to make her some kind of doggie cake, or get her a new toy, but instead, I just put a silly plastic tiara on her head and took a picture!

  Isn’t she cute!?  She’s one of the few dogs I know who doesn’t really seem to care if I put something on her head like that, which is strange, because she’s so hyper 95% of the time!

Thursday morning I had another massage, I had planned to get up early and work out, but this appointment was at 9:30, which meant I would have had to get up really early in order to work out, so instead I just slept!  I think I may have overly spoiled myself by going to the actual massage therapist before, because now the student massages don’t feel nearly as good!  Well, and maybe I’m distracted by the "rooms" the student massages are given in, because it’s really just one big room divided by caurtains, so if the person in the next "room" decides to be chatty while getting massaged, you have to listen to it. ~grumble~  Anyway, it was still a nice massage, I didn’t mean to complain that much about it!

Last night before I left work, I finished the last shadowbox that had the bats in it (Which I forgot to take a picture of, damn it!) Though it was the same as the mitts, just two bats surrounded by a bunch of black.  Oh, and they are now officially the only things I’ve ever had to damage in order to put them in a shadowbox.  The customer wanted them to float, ie, no visable means of how they’re held in there, and the only way to do that was screwing them in from behind. So I pre-drilled two holes, one on each end, and put screws in through the back of the mat board.  It took me all day to get it done, since I have to stop all the time to help customers, but at least it’s done!

Um, and that’s all I did yesterday.  So boring, and another day without working out.  Curses!
