She better hope I find a new job soon

Mary Ann better hope that find a new job before she does any more to piss me off, because she is not going to like the results when it does happen. Today she had the audacity to tell me that because I am assistant I am not eligible for the extra day off all full time employees get for a holiday. All full time employees get it, managers get it, but a full time assistant manager is not eligible?  Now that just does not make sense.  I argued it, told her it was in the policy and procedure, she said she didn’t care, I was her assistant and I would do what she told me.  It isn’t her choice to make, it is mine.  If I want to work it I get to work it, if I want it off, I get it off.  She will not leave me alone on my days off and tells me I can’t call her on hers because she is too busy, she will call me if she wants to know what is going on.  She is the manager but she expects me to be on call at all times.  When I worked in Erie, I was required to be on call any day I had to work manager, didn’t matter that I lived 45 mins away.  She cannot handle her job and I am getting tired of not getting paid to pick up her slack.  When I leave there will be a discussion with Judy as well as everything in writing.  I am tired of it, and she needs to get hers.
