The new chapter begins on Dec. 24, 2012

Life is very busy here!

My daughters did very well on the plane. I was a bit concerned with Selene being only 5 weeks old and having a cold. She only was up for feeding and slept right thru in my arms during 5 hour flight. Elizabeth did very good, too. She behaved like a big girl. I was proud of them. My mom flew with us, so it was a huge help.

We had to sleep at my in-law’s place the first night and left around 3 after lunch and Christmas gift exchange. They couldn’t get their eyes off Selene. I was kind of annoyed that they kept wanting to hold the baby and fil even took the baby to his bedroom away from me. We picked up some food at their Japanese/Korean market before we came home.

When I arrived here, everything was pretty messy and needed a lot of cleaning and unpacking. I was sad to find out that couple of our boxes and my piano chair were stolen during the move. I had this piano since I was 13 and even though I get a new chair, it won’t be the same. 🙁 Anyway, taking care of 3 kids and working, I had little time to settle things down at home. It took me over a month to make this place like a home. I only have just few things to organize and things will be done for real.

We needed a sofa and a TV stand so I went to this furniture store and bought a red microfiber sofa. I personally don’t like microfiber sofa, but everything else was either very ugly or too expensive. This sofa was only less than 300 dollars. I decided to buy the TV stand at Walmart. They have one that looked decent for only 130 dollars. Maybe we can go on Sunday.

My aunt came early December with her daughter to our home when I wasn’t even here yet and stayed until mid January. I was getting uncomfortable. She’s obsessed with babies and coincidentally or what, she was there always every time I had my 3 babies. We had to drive her to Irvine took us 2 hours going and coming back and dropped her butt off to my oldest aunt’s place. Now, she wants to come back an being very stubborn about it. Why doesn’t she relize that she is uninvited. She requests too many things when she’s here and she won’t let go off the baby. The situation is I can’t really tell her get lost right now. She has leukemia and lost her husband having cancer few years ago. I do feel sorry for her. She’s so sensitive and I just don’t know what to do or say to her. Anyway, she’s coming back on Saturday night and will be here for a week. Grrr.

Because our store is new, its hard right now. Advertising is time consuming and needs a lot of work and money. Facebook comes very handy. Store is pretty. It was trashed when we got, but after flooring and painting and putting fixtures and other things, it looks great. Aftger buying merchandise, paying bills and 2 employees, we really don’t get profit for ourselves but hopefully the business will pick up soon. We even tried the swapmeet to advertise our store. We setup the table and stuff. We had to leave at 3am in the morning to go wait so that we could grab a good spot. It was freaking cold and tiring. While my mom was here until 4th, we worked our butt off until like 2am at the store. Last month, kids were playing race in the parking lot and a rock flew to our store glass and shattered it. Then, few weeks ago, Jays was so exhausted and he told me he was having double vision while we were driving to a store to buy some tables. Right then, he ran in to a truck. The truck was fine, but we have a hole on our van in the front. Good thing no one was hurt though.

Joshua’s school and the teachers are fabulous. He’s happy and the district had to spend a lot of money on him, so he was transferred to a different district. I’m very greatful and Jays and I talked about donating to autism center or something like that in near future. Joshua receives 1-1 education and once all the paperwork is done, hopefully next week, he’s going to an after school for therapy and stuff. I’m just happy that we found a great place for him.

I’m just busy every day and crash to bed at late night but have to get up to feed the baby during the night. I was sick for 2 days, but I had no time to rest. My right knees hurt a lot. I feel like a fever there and gets swollen sometimes and I think I should go take an x-ray on it or something. While I was cleaning, Jays had kids’ trampoline stand on the wall and I bumped it by accident. It fell and the leg fell right on my left toe. It bled a lot and It hurt so bad. I think the toenail will fall off soon. Other than that, things are going great and life is just busy but getting peachie.
