Summer is Here!

Wow, summer is here..

so what is everyone up to?

Right now, I am working part time making a website for the company I’m at. i’ll be taking a grad course later this month so I’m pretty excited about that. I’ll be going to grad school full time in the fall and that should be the plan for the next 2 years. Other than that, I’m pretty much set for now. I have been looking for a real, more permanent job with more challenging tasks but to no avail. I actually “got” a job at S&P last week and then I called yesterday afernoon and I was notified that someone already started the job I was hired for. Wtf?! I dont get it.. I’m beyond confused, surprisd, appalled…

It’s rerally depressing when you think “I have arrived!” and you feel like a whole new future is opening before you and then a few days later, you hear that someone else started the job, that no one notified you of this until you called them and now I am pretty much where I started with having declined 2 other job offers. *sigh* I’m not going to search for a job for a w hile.. I think its the only time when I’ve actually cried over not getting a job and I have heard rejection before but this was going to be different. But it’s all the same now.
