I’m so relieved.

Well, the week from the hot zone is over.  It passed quietly, silently.  Nothing of real import to report to you all about it.  The midterms went ok.  The papers when ok.  I didn’t sleep enough.  I whined too much, and now, it’s over, and I’m spring break.  I can’t tell you how relieved I am.

Now that I’ve crested the wave, and I’m riding down the otherside, it seems like all the crap I was worried about is small.  Such is life.  Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s going away, but at this point, there is very little I can do about any of it anyways. 

To put it simply, I’ve been interested in a girl who isn’t interested.  I knew that going in.  Now, it’s just time to refocus, and get on with what I was doing before it happened.  Easily said.   We’ll soon see how easily it’s done.  I think being relaxed is going to help out quite a lot.  The hardest part of the semester is done, and I’m in pretty good shape. 

My plans for the week include going out and getting a temp job, reading a bunch of books, catching up on some more school work, going skiing (Wednesday it’s supposed to be 70 in Denver, so I’ll probably ski in shorts and T), and generally being a bum.  This is no large departure from normal, but it’s still nice to be a bum when it doesn’t cost you anything to do.  Next weekend, I have to decide between going to the symphony or an arena football game on Saturday night.  Early lead goes to Arena football, but I do love the symphony.  Either way, I win, so I’m not freaking out about it too much.  Either way is good with me.  I’m also going to do lots of letter writing this week.  I got a letter from a cousin, and another from the church I had my summer internship at.  I want to write a little letter to my church back in WI. I’ve been meaning to do it for a long time.  Now it appears I might have the time.  I’m all for that.

I’m working at getting some webspace so I can put up my papers and stuff from Seminary.  Maybe I’ll link that here.  Or maybe not.  Well, at any rate, I’ve got a whole lot of nothing to do, and it’s about time for me to get started.  I’ll probably write more this week, considering I should have more time to be a bum now that the storm has passed.  Have a good week everyone.
