Message in a Bottle

A lullaby of sorrows echoes through the darkness..

The notes sing a song of regret and anguish.

The shattered glass reminds me.

Another wave crashes down,

and my heart heaves under the weight of your memory.

The hourglass turns over,

The road gets longer,

and the empty sun sets again.

It won’t ever change.

I miss you.
