National Poetry Month (NaPo) 2010

So, every year in April, the Academy of American Poets sponsors an event called National Poetry Month.

It’s a challenge that you must write one poem every single day in April. 

It’s difficult, yes. But very much doable. Anybody can participate.

All it takes is just to name an entry each day " NaPo (MM/DD/YY) " And then write the poem in that entry.

There are no guidelines, no rules, no restrictions. Just write about whatever inspires you.

I believe I’ll take part this year…I lost track last year. Hopefully I won’t this time.

If anybody actually bothers to read this diary, I’ll put up a list of topics, that way nobody runs out ideas.
