National Poetry Month Day 2

Here it is, My second poem. Enjoy. 🙂

A white rose softly sways in the wind.
Gently moving back and forth, without a care.
Its petals shine in the afternoon sun.
Its thorns lightly poke anyone who gets too close.
It sits in a garden, where the world remains quiet, untouched by time.
The garden where the sun is never too bright.
The garden where the wind only lightly blows.
This blissful rose.
This timeless garden.
If only the rest of the world were the same.
