Good news! :D I’m gonna make it!

This Saturday I begin rehearsals for my Los Angeles dance debut.  And yes, it is paid. 
It’s not a TON of money and took FOUR auditions to achieve.  But most dancers spend years working in Los Angeles getting paid practically nothing.  So I consider myself quite lucky.  Plus, the male dance lead (we’re creating a loooove story) is attractive enough to disorient me when he touches me while dancing.  I’m also pretty excited about that, although my boyfriend might kill him once he sees the show. 

Also, October 1st I have a modeling gig.  Yea, blows my mind too. (I did ONE runway gig a LoOoOng time ago for Harley Davidson)  But I was recruited by a LA casting director while waiting for a dance audition and she gave me the modeling job on the spot.  I guess I looked good that day.  Anyway, this is NOT paid however I get touched up copies of all the photos taken while working.  This means I get a free makeover+ free headshots and body shots (it’s a lingerie shoot; I told them by NO means was I taking my underwear off lol).  Being pretty just saved me hundreds of dollars for pictures for my resume (that I desperately needed).  Epic win.  Thanks, parents.  🙂

I’m quitting my martial arts stunt group for the time being, and diminshed my Starbucks hours to 20.  WOOOOO!

I recently bought bookshelves and a tv stand that helps the apartment look less like a pig sty.  They makes me happy; I hate being disorganized!

That’s all the good news for right now.  I’ve gotta get prepared, I’m making chicken parmesan for dinner  🙂
