I only thought I was kidding…

when I told Kelly I’d make it as far as my house before I started crying.

I made it just inside of the door, 0300 in the morning, and fell as much as sat on our entryway rug.
Before I knew it, tears were everywhere.

Last night he picked me up after an 8 hour teaching day cuz his parents really wanted to see me and they held dinner off until I could come.  It was 2030 or something ridiculous.  Anyway, we had tacos:  Kelly, his little brother (who’s also about a foot taller than me), his dad, his mom and me (ridiculously exhausted and sweaty from dancin’ all day but…ack).  I love his family- it’s so much different than mine.  The whole while I was there, there was no yelling.  (Speaking of which… the father figure just woke up and I’m already getting an earful.  Woo-hoo.  FUCKER.)
We watched Grindhouse.  Ridiculous movie.  I wasn’t focused much on it anyway, truth be told.

Anyway, I know he doesn’t want to go back to California.  (Actually, correction, he doesn’t mind going back to California… he minds leaving me.)  What makes it worse is that I didn’t want him to go back, either.
But we did it and now he’s gone.
He’s gone again.

‘Where Is My Mind’ by the Pixies will forever be stuck in my head.

The new layout is freaky-deaky cool. Kudo’s. – I liked the “DeathProof” over “Planet Terror”. –I feel ya. It’s tough being alone, when it’s more or less against your will, despite it probably being the best thing going at that time. I haven’t seen “Hancock” yet, but did see “Hellboy II” last week. ‘Twas cool, with a capitol K… I mean “C”. Cheerio. Keep dancin’, Sunshine!!! 🙂
