In a dance studio, there’re a lot of crazy things.

Yesterday we found the tv remote control in the freezer.  It’d been taken apart and its various components stuffed in random parts of the freezer. 

This was the same day one of the 8 year olds asked a 6 year old to guess who the person in a picture was… her exact words were, "Guess who this is!  I know you don’t know who she is, but guess anyway!"  The littler one stared at her like she was insane, so the 8 year old says encouragingly, "It starts with an M!"  The little girl starts guessing random names.  "No, it’s Mi-"  More random names.  "Mich-" More random names.  "Miche-"  "Michella," the little girl exclaims.  "No, Michelle!" the older says impatiently, then points at a new picture.  "Guess this one!" 
For Christ’s sake.

And today it was raining fiercely for a whole entire twenty minutes- amazing for Texas, anyway- and some of the girls were coming inside soaking wet.  One of the dry team members says to the wet team member, "Haha!  Did God piss on you?"  Yea right sweetheart… that’s exactly what I’d ask if it were raining like the dickens outside.

Sometime later::  When I wrote previously, I’d forgotten I had to assist class so had to run in fifteen minutes late… Oops.  O : )

But I was just taking a jazz class and my ankle’s doing funny things again.  The tendon, for the past couple of months, keeps getting stuck on the ball and socket joint.  It’s usually no big deal and I just pop it off- it hurts a little bit when I do, but then it’s fine.

Well, now I can’t get it unstuck.  I don’t want to yank it off… just in case.  I don’t need to add problems to my already long list of chronic foot issues. 
So I’m sitting back at my desk at the studio watching the world pass me by wondering why my God given talent has to be something that uses my feet.
