School and other things

I’ve had a few rough days. First off, like I told you in the previous post, I spent some time with the boyfriend. (Yah, we’re trying to work things out) Then just two days ago, I realized that one of my college books wasn’t in my suitcase. And that was only when I had gotten all the way home. So I had to go to the main campus and get another one, and even though it was used, I still ended up paying over $100 for the damn book. Yeah, so I’m a bit pissed. I told myself I wouldn’t use any of the remaining grant money that was sent to me. Though I still have over $500 left (plus my dad is going to be sending me) I’m still angry at myself for doing something I told myself not to do.

School’s been kinda run. Been failing tests and quizzes left and right. I’ll do okay on one then on another one I’ll fail miserably. I’m starting to think college is a big fucking joke. I like but at the same time I don’t. Its like High School in a way and that’s what I wanted to avoid. Plus once this is over, I’m going to get another degree in Criminal Justice. Since I watch Forensic Files a lot, I think it would be more interesting.
Not saying Information Tech isn’t what I wanted to do because it is, but this Document Production class is killin’ me. And by the way…thats the class I had to get the book for. Its a bit overwhelming and a lot of it I still don’t get. Thank god we only have another month of this and we’re done til January. Speaking of which, I need to find out what I’m going to be taking next year because they "wiped out" Information Tech in the book. I believe its under Networking now. Which is fine with me but I need to know so I can be ready.

I do have some good news (sort of) though. Best Buy called me for an interview. I found it weird though that they decided to call my cellphone instead of the homephone. For one, the damn thing kept dropping the call so I had to keep calling the interviewer back, but luckily she was understandable and set me up for a 2nd interview next Thursday. Thing is, the job is seasonal only, so I don’t know what I’m going to do once the season ends. I’m hoping the UPS will still be hiring so I can try and get on there. Its part-time but it pays decent. So I hope I get the job so I can put back the money I spent from my grant. I know I’ll be spending more of it on personal needs but it can’t really be avoided. There’s things I need to have. (Cellphone, BC, etc)

Anyway I’m going to get going. Take care all!

Woah everyone is having money issues now, it sucks to watch it happen. I have an interview set up for Monday, but the dude got my voice mail like 3 times before we were able to figure things out, so I’m surprised I still have the interview lol.
