Sorry for not writing

I’m still alive. I got another job. I’m working at Dole. 9 hours of standing but hey, at least I’m doing what I gotta do right? I didn’t come home last night til around 1:30. I was beat. I ended up crashing soon after. Tonight I don’t know how long I’ll be working. Probably 10-11 hours. I have to go in at 4 and i have to call this number daily (except on my days off) to see what time I have to come in cause sometimes its earlier, sometimes its later.
That’s the thing about working there. You dont know how long you’ll be working.
We get 2 breaks if we work 9 and a lunch and 3 if we work over that.
The thing that sucks is that we can’t bring in headphones even though we have to wear ear plugs to keep out the noise in the plant. I can’t decide if that’s weird or not.
Despite all the mexicans that work there, it’s pretty cool. (In both instances of the word) There’s more mexicans there than anything else and hardly any of them speak English. I had one nice girl that was trying to show me how to cut and everything. How she did it she would tap the table. Though the way she did the job, I was getting confused cause she was doing it so quick so I made my own way.

In there, you have to wear at least 2 layers of clothing. But that’s not the hard part. After about 6-7 hours, your hands start to get stiff. That’s the thing right there. You have to shake the stiffness out and sometimes that don’t work LOL But after all that, its not a bad job. Though I wanted to do packaging and they moved me to another position instead. So after about a month, I’m going to move up to packaging. For now, I’m going to stay right where I am.

Anyway, have a nice day guys. Im gonna chill til I gotta go to work.

Eii.. That sounds like hard work for a girl. What kind of job is this? They better pay you the big bucks.
