Birthday and Ex’s

It’s been a couple days…

the weekend was a blur…it could be the fact that I turned 21 this weekend. Anwyay my best friend from Phoenix (my old roommate in Miami) flew into Denver late Wednesday night. We went out Thursday (on my birthday) and got dinner, went to the liquor store. I think the guy thought I was crazy, he was like "can I help you ladies with anything" I was like "you SURE can! It’s the BIG day " he just started laughing

any bar I went to everybody was looking at me funny. Everybody is telling me I’m going to get carded for a while because I look so young. It’s funny I think.  My best friend and I had a lot fo catching up and had so much fun.

It’s weird being 21 now. If I’m at dinner and want a glass of wine I can order it..or if I want a 6 pack while I’m grocery shopping I can put it in the cart. It feel strange.

Other news…I got a call Sunday evening from an old.."friend" if you will.

We went to school together in Miami and used to spend the night with each other..it’s strange because I never date guys my own age, they’re always older.

Anyway we get to talking and he was asking when I was comming back to Miami and I told him if I did I wanted to bring my boyfriend to show him around. And told him they should meet. Well he didn’t like the sound of that. I said "I’m not going to have sex with you if I come back down there, I’m practically engaged"

He paused…then flipped. He said "no!" I said "I told you when I moved to northern Florida I had a boyfriend, you knew that" he said he knew that but now that we decided we’re going to get married there’s no chance for him anymore.

WAIT

When we used to live in Miami together he said he wasn’t ready for a girlfriend but I was as close to him in Miami more than any other girl…he said he just couldn’t settle down…so basically what he wanted was a fuck buddy? I knew we had feelings for each other, it was more than just sex. I was ready for more but he wasn’t. ..now he’s going to change his mind? Just two years later?

Now he says he’s all depressed..we weren’t even going out, he couldn’t commit…now he wants to? It’s a little late ..I’m so happy I moved and met my boyfriend..we’re so in love

It’s just weird. I have about 4 ex boyfriends who are now trying to get ahold of me telling me they’re missing me..what is THAT about? They were not good boyfriends and we split now they want to get back together? I’m so confused..what makes them think they can call me up and I’ll just run back to them? There’s no way in hell I’d even think about it…
