[ deep sea green ]

I need your eyes
to scream a story,
to remind me of
what is real
and what was all
pretend.
And when I am caught
gazing
into the
deep sea green,
I am immersed
in you entirely
and soaked in your song
that slips between
those two sweet lips
that keep telling me
to believe in our
true life
fairy tale.
I am limp and damp
and easliy
manipulated,
so I beg of you,
do as you please.
I want your love
to fill my soul,
always over-flowing,
never empty.
And I’ll catch
the excess that
runs over the egde
and kiss it right
back into you,
so you’ll feel
how protected,
how loved,
how honored,
how invincible
you make me feel.
