[ image of perfection ]

A bunch of the next entries are poems I wrote when I was about seventeen…I was a hormonal, rebellious mess…and I wrote sucky stuff. But some is ok…it’s just weird to see how much different I write now. yeah, read on.

time stands still yet you pass through like its normal
i reach out to touch you, to feel your warmth
and you disappear into sheer nothingness
i long to feel your lips pressed against mine
and how our hands delicately intertwined
why you’re on my mind is beyond the stars, the moon, the sun
i close my eyes and there you are, an image of perfection
and i realize what i may dream is not reality, but this neverending fantasy, a daydream
i long for it to be real, and a tear falls down my cheek
with a full heart i dismiss it for the love of what you once had
and who you once were
and it will soon pass for me as well
as it obviously did for you
