Idle

This has been a pretty boring week. I have way too much time on my hands, and nothing to fill it with. I went on a short hike with Sophia on Monday, that was really fun. Last night Elaine came over for a while and we smoked and listened to music. Tonight there is an excursion club meeting, and in theory a social afterwards, but i’m not sure if that’s gonna happen or not. If it does that would be cool. Hopefully i’ll be having dinner tomorrow night with the thesis group, i got a couple of yes’s and one no so far. Then i’m taking off this friday to go white water rafting for the weekend with the club. I’ve managed to have at least one social or semi-social thing each day so far, which is always my goal. Cuz the rest of the time i’ve been sitting around the apartment doing nothing. I officially accepted the job yesterday, that was kinda a cool feeling. Afterwards I got my hair cut. I had decided back in August that I wouldn’t cut my hair until I had a job, and I stuck to that. I was liking the super shaggy hair, but its been really windy lately, and it was constantly in my eyes and the wind made it look like mad scientist hair. Definitely had some hobo-hair tendencies. So now it’s short and businesslike. Which is actually a new look for me. I’ve always had crazy hair, whether it was shoulder-length long hair, or big spikes, or lately this shaggy mop. But the reality is it’s thinning out and i’m starting to lose it, so that has to factor into all my haircut decisions from here on out. It’s easy for other people to say oh don’t worry about it, but it sucks when its you. Such is life.

It seems like you have been doing a lot. I did nothing on my break. Has it been windy down south too. It’s ridiculously windy up where I live. Anyway have a good rest of the week.

YAY, NEW JOB!!! YAY, NEW HAIRCUT!!!!

Yay for the job! Yay for a haircut- even though I really love it when guys leave their hair shaggy (ESPECIALLY the mad scientest/crazy artist look), but, sense you are getting a new job… I guess you can cut it. 😉 ~Audra
