Response to notes

First off- Thanks for the notes. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and its nice to know people are actually taking the time to think about it and share their opinion, so, thanks for leaving the notes the people that have.

To throw something else out there- if for whatever reason you saw/knew how and when your best friend was going to die- would you tell them? And would you try to prevent it? (if you could)…..

My answer: I think that I have no right in playing God. If I think they could honestly handle knowing I would tell them. If not I would try to find some way to get them to spend time with the people they love and care about and have them tell them before it happens. Yeah, it’d be super hard (I’m not heartless, I promise). But like I said- I’m not God and I’m not about to mess with His plan. Everything happens for a reason- tragedy or not. God has a reason for everything.

In response to the latest notes (it’s easier this way):

Merconner- I love learning new things too. I would love to see glimpses of the future. It takes time for me to adjust to change (abnormally long time) and to be more prepared would be awesome- even if it’s only a glimpse.

Csuboy- How am I just like you? Elaborate 🙂 Sorry I hurt your head!! 🙂

Thelonelycanadian- Someone will eventually find you dead. But I know what you’re saying. I’d hope I wasn’t doing anything embarrassing- like going to the bathroom or taking a shower, etc. And I would hope my mom or dad or brother wouldn’t be the ones to find me. But, I guess it doesn’t matter since you’d be dead anyways. I’d feel bad for whomever it was- cause obviously if their at my house they more than likely cared about me. And I would probably freak if I found someone dead at their home. But, there’s nothing you can do about it, so why worry about it?

Boyinthesnow- Thank you. Someone on the same page as I am. Even though I don’t think I’ll ever get the answer to this question while alive… I still wonder.

Ged- I would say I disagree with your statement- only because I’m less a mess with a plan and organization and my life isn’t too boring- I have everything planned out- should see my calendar at home. If I didn’t it would be mass confusion with me and I would be insane and in the nut house. It’s better that way for me as an individual, to have a plan. And I liked the Mark Bolan thing- how regardless of trying to prevent his death in a car accident like he feared by not learning to drive and him dying in a car accident anyways is my whole point. I think a car crash is going to be how I go and I still drive. Hell, I drive long distances by myself still… I’m not going to live differently because it could mean my death. If you’re afraid to die I think you need to figure out why you’re afraid to die. People shouldn’t be afraid of it. Like the lonelycanadian said- everyone dies. It’s a fact of life. Why fear it?

Theunoticeable- I’m not worrying about dying. I’m curious about it. That’s all. You can’t tell me you’ve never thought about it and wondered how you were going to die.

So, I guess that’s all for now. Anyone else have anything else they think about strange from time to time? I’d be curious to hear.

Alissa

Some times when I’m driving I wonder where other people are going, especially out-of-staters. ::Response to above:: I really wish it was more than just a flash of the future though. C’mon, at least give me a 30 second window!

If i knew how a friend was going to die i would let them know that i knew the information and leave it up to them if they wanted me to tell them or not. I wouldn’t try to stop it, simply because i don’t think i could – i’m a big believer in fate. I spend a lot of time trying to reconcile my belief that there is no afterlife, with my belief in God. It’s very tricky…
