Why does all the weird stuff happen to me?!?!?!

So, I had a doctor’s appointment after work at 4:30. Mind you, I’m totally exhausted, and dreading this whole appointment. About a month ago (or maybe it was two, I’m not sure) I noticed this weird thing on my leg a bit up from my ankle and didn’t know what the heck it was… thought it was an ingrown hair or a spider bite or something strange like that… and it just kept getting worse… so, I had Dr. Schneider look at it at my yearly appointment, and she didn’t know what it was, so she gave me some Keflex and told me to call her husband, Dr. Andrawis, if it didn’t get any better.. So, I took the Keflex… seemed to get worse… I’d see Dr. Andrawis at work and he’d look at it there for me… and he told me to make an appointment… UGH. So, I went in there today, lookin’ forward (haha) to him going to cut it open and drain it… ok… gross, I know… but hang in here. So, I’m sitting there… he’s shooting my wound up with Lidocaine and it HURTS… and he starts cutting… stupid me decides I was going to watch, even though I didn’t want to.. at one point he says, “Are you sure you want to watch?” And I said, “No” but couldn’t look away… finally I did… except, I kept seeing him grabbing gauze and putting it back soaked with blood (I don’t do well with blood.. makes me woozy) and he looked at me kinda funny and asked me if I was feeling alright… I said, “Would it be possible to maybe lie down?” So, he kinda laughed and said sure… I got really hot, and think I was fixin’ to pass out so, I laid down… he shot some more Lidocaine into it ’cause I was feeling him cut… he then got a funny look on his face and was lookin’ at my leg funny… I asked him what was wrong. His response: “This isn’t a boil. I don’t know what it is, but it isn’t a boil. It’s huge and it’s deep…” He then proceeded to tell me that he wanted to cut the whole thing out and send it to the lab and see what it was… I told him since it’s already cut open, he mine as well cut the dang thing out…

So, an hour later, I walked out with 4 stitches and a prescription for Vicodin. Hmmm…. it’s too numb right now to know if it’s going to hurt… but, I’m assuming since he gave me Vicodin that it’s going to hurt… maybe not tonight, but tomorrow. UGH. I’m glad I don’t work tomorrow!!

I tell you what… weird things always happen to me… and I know Stephanie is tired of me whining… I’ll try and quit. Sorry honey!!

Well, not much else to report. I’m going to take me some Vicodin and lay down or something….

Ooooh… vicodin…. that is good stuff. I used some when i had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at the same time. 1 pill knocked me off my feet for 3-4 hours. Enjoy (smile)
