Funny Funny

So two funny stories from last weekend.

On Friday I went to the Moma by myself and took lots of pictures! It was a great time.  But then at night there was this party in the pub and I went to it and there was this guy there who started talking to me about how the building we live in has so many great programs and classes like yoga class and salsa dancing etc and I was like yea it’s a really good place to live etc.  Then he goes o there is a kickboxing class on Friday nights thats really great.  And I’m like o yea I have some friends who go to it.  And then he is like yea its a good class.  And I’m like o really? I heard the instructor is kinda really strict and mean.  And he goes o really? And i’m like yea apparently he pushes ppl a lot.  And he is like ooo really.

And then we chit chat for like 10-15 more minutes.  And then he goes BTW, I am the kickboxing instructor.

And I was like NO YOU ARE NOT .  No way . No way.

And he totally was.

So I just made a fool of myself.

Oops. Me and my big mouth.

The 2nd story is that on Saturday we went out to eat in Greenwich Village and on the way back we ended up taking a bus and it was freezing out so I was trying to put the subway card in and I put it in backwards a few times and the bus driver was kind of a total ass , so he got super annoyed at me and grabbed it out of my hand and put it in for me and then he goes "see the little picture here, it does wonders" (it was a picture showing which way to put the card in ).

It totally ticked me off.  I wanted to be like efffff youu buddy.  But, I obviously didn’t say anything.  And then on the bus ride my friend and I were plotting our revange.  So, what I ended up doing was on our way out, I put on the BIGGEST SMILE imaginable and I went "Have a good evening sir!"  to him and man you should have seen his face.  He really didn’t know how to react to it.  Like nobody had ever been nice to him before in his life.  It was classic.  I loved it.  I decided I am going to be EXTREMELY  nice to rude people, just to throw them off.  It is pretty fun.  Everyone should try it.

In other news, today marks the 1 year anniversary of the purchase of my car!  My baby is now 1 year old 🙂

LOL. oh man. the first one you wouldn’t expect to actually happen in real life…more like in a sitcom. that’s so weird! and the second…that’s cool that you were nice enough to do that. i’m not gonna lie. i wouldn’t have been the nicest after being treated like that. but i agree, people should try that. and thanks! i am getting quite the response from it. didn’t expect that 🙂 i can’t wait to see the new place and post pics.

was he cute and trying to hit on you? Why would he tell you how great HIS kickboxing class was without telling you he taught it? that’s pretty funny though.. i wouldn’t feel too bad. if he still spoke to you afterwards, i doubt he cared. Happy birthday car!! —
