I am a big kid now

So Sunday was my 22nd birthday. I spent the day being mostly lazy and feeling old at home.

On Monday, I went to the temple for aarti. There was a little kid there who kept circling around me and then picking up trash from the floor and putting it in my hands. He was a cute kid, so I didn’t mind really. Then, the father notices and goes to the kid "nahi beta AUNTY ko trash nahi chahiye" (trans: no son AUNTY doesn’t want the trash).

Excuse me uncle, but I think you meant Didi.
I am 22. I am not a freaking aunty! ugh.

This morning, my car wouldn’t start. So, I found out a Nissan dealership online, called them. Called AAA, had them come jump me etc etc.

All by myself.

I guess I am just all grown up now.
