Summer Time

Hola!

There is tons to be written, so I’ll start with the big stuff first.

I graduated!  Mummy, Pappa, Sis, Mona kaki, and Pintu kaka came.  I met all of my friends parents, it was sort of weird/interesting.  I met Kyle’s mom and she gave me a hug.  I met Peter’s parents too and they were super sweet.  I also remet Monica and Julie’s families.

 The move out was hectic.

I went home to NJ for 10 days after that and came back to Salem, MA on June 1st and started my internship on the 4th.   The apartment in Salem was total crap, the power went out for 4 hours and we had to share the place with 4 other girls who had taken over the entire living room and kitchen area before we even got there.  So, Alyssa and I found a place way the heck up North in Gloucester and moved out after a week.  Which is where I currently am.

I live right by the ocean and I have been to the beach so many times this year, it’s been great!  I also sit out and watch the sunset over the harbor.  I’ll post pictures in the next entry.

My internship started off well, the people were nice and the job is not hard at all.  But I am now discovering that the people here are very immature and they gossip so damn much about each other that it’s starting to make me sick.  I thought people would drop that high school crap by the time they become Senior Engineers in some hot shot company.  I guess I was wrong.

Living with Alyssa was the biggest pain in the Ass.  It has sort of diminished our friendship.  She did not have a car so I had agreed that I would give her a ride to work since she worked at the same place and we are friends.  Well, from that conversation she had somehow assumed and gotten the idea that I was okay with sharing my car with her, i.e letting her drive it around.  Well, there is no way in hell that I would drive other people’s cars (unless it was an emergency or very temporary) or let someone drive my car without me in it and I told her as such and she got super bitchy after that.   She started to become so f’ing annoying in the car.  She would change the radio stations,  pick up hair stuck on her sweater and stick it in my car.   I had to baby sit her around at lunch at work because she would never bother to bring lunch and as she didn’t have a car to go out, I would have to take her out with me and she had the nerve to argue with me.

Her:  So what are you doing for lunch?
Me:  I’m going to subway, do u wanna come?
Her:  oooh uhmm I don’t want subway.  Is there anything around subway?
Me:  I don’t know , look it up.
Her:  Oh I’d rather go to Panera…..

and then she would stare at me.  It’s like what am I suppossed to say to that.  It’s not like where I was going was up for debate, I am going to subway if you wanna come with me then come.  Otherwise, starve.  What the hell.

Anyway, there is a lot of other annoying stuff like that.  Anyway, NOTE to self:  Never agree to give rides to unappreciative retards.

But anyway,  I am going to post another entry with pictures!

oh my goodness…this entry could be mine bitching about just about every single one of my old roomates! And i hate it when people get dependent on you for your car….it’s so annoying because i always feel like they’re not nearly as easygoing as i would be if i were in that situation. Even when i have to bum a ride from the airport…i’m always like, just show up anytime after x, i’ll wait.

oh yeah, it’s good to see you back! Hopefully your internship drama will get better….people will always be like, they never grow out of it….there was a running joke at my law school….they called it Bayside High. 🙂 —
