Story Telling
The entry after this will begin a series of entries telling the stories of my family. This is something that I have been working on in the picture area and in my brain. I can’t guarantee that I will keep them coming one after another, but they will come.
This has been a pretty normal and crazy week. Salem wound up sick Monday night, stayed home Tuesday, and by Wednesday afternoon Ian was sick. Blah. In exchange for the cold, his two top teeth have officially broken through the gums and his relief is so evident! Salem gave me my Mother’s Day present that she made at school early today, and I cried. Precious memories and everything is going by way too fast!
Tomorrow we have a wedding to go to. Scott was asked to be in his friend Paul’s wedding, a month before and after almost 2 years of him not speaking to Scott. Not because something happened, but because he just didn’t make an effort like Scott did to keep the friendship going. It’s weird, but Scott agreed. We are going to take two cars and I probably won’t stay for the reception is Ian isn’t feeling better by tomorrow. We both just can’t wait for it to be over.
I desperately want to feel loved, and so I am pretty scared that Mother’s Day will be a disappointment for me. Praying it won’t be.
Happy Mother’s Day to all you mommies out there!
Hope you have a great mother’s day!! 🙂
