I miss this diary! – Jan 18th.

I wrote in the last entry that I hate missing TOD, and I really do! But I can’t help but want to write in it. So… my mom gave me this book called “Simple Abundance : A Daybook of Comfort and Joy” by Sarah Ban Breathnach. Everyday that I can remember, I will write the quote for the day down, and then talk about it in relation to my life. (There is an essay with it, which I will quote sometimes).

Beauty: Opening Our Eyes to the Beauty That Surrounds Us

“You agree- I’m sure you agree, that beauty is the only thing worth living for.” – Agatha Christie

The essay talks about how beauty is always apart of us, but that sometimes we are busy and ignore it, or look to hard for it. “Let your eyes drink in the beauty that surrounds you.” Everything to you should be beautiful. I think I can put this in my life today by trying to find beauty in myself. I am told I am beautiful, but I cannot see it all the time, and I would like to try. Besides this, I am going to try to look for beauty in every person and everything I encounter today. I will try and find beauty in the bugs, the trees, the land masses… everything.

I encourage all of you to find it as well.
