Cross Stitch and Kippers….
Hi Guys,
We haven’t been doing much, firstly due to the weather being a scorcher and then because the weather was awfult today.
Aberdeen had it’s hottest day ever on record the other day, and Britain did too so it has been quite warm. We had intentions of going off sightseeing again today but the clouds were against us so we didn’t go, curse the clouds if only we’d purchased cloud insurance… their plotting something I know it….
We will go tomorrow if all is well…
To compensate for not going out we had a picnic on th eliving room floor and it was good but we ate a little too much, there was lots to choose from: sausage rolls (I think I will start to look like a sausage soon) ("You can’t have a picnic or any kind of buffet/function in the UK without sausage rolls" – Chel), mini scotch eggs, quiche lorraine (the one with cheese and bacon I think) and many other bits.
Then we decided to do some cross stitch, it’s something Chel has been doing for awhile but I am a novice just starting out in the world of cross stitch, a fry in the shoal of cross stitch, a roo in the herd of cross stitch, lamb in the flock of cross stitch, a kitten in the litter of cross stitch, a cub in the pride, a caterpillar in the kaliedoscope, etc. and to star me off we have bought some Kipper designs, I love Kipper and his friend Tiger.
It’s not the smoked fish it’s the CHildrens cartoon dog who has crazy adventures and he’s great!
That Frosties advert is bugging us at the minute "They’re gonna taste GREAt… They’re gonna taste GREAT…" SHUT UP and bring back Tony the Tiger!
Anyway I will leave it there for now, hopefully photos tomorrow from our day out, note me if you like me or have read me. If you don’t it’s like stealing but this time leave a name.
Sam
