Chel Has News

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the lack of updates but I have no excuse we haven’t been doing anything haven’t had places to be there just hasn’t been much to say.

Anyway I collected the post yesterday morning and there as a letter for Chel, it was from the University and they were telling her that she’d won an award. She’s won the Leonard Simkin Memorial Prize which means she was the best in her class at biochemistry… I am going tomake her a certificate later.

Aanyway we can’t find out who Leonard Sinkin is or what he did, but we just did he worked on guinea-pig glycoproteins – whatever that means!

Anyway apart from Chel winning an award we have no news except in less than a week I will no longer be a student but an unemployed graduate and Chel will be getting ready to become a graduate.

We have been clearing out stuff that isn’t going to make the move, and the lady at the charity has been appreciative of our donations and eBay has gotten rid of a few things for us too, we made a nice profit on a map of Orkney.

We went shoe shopping yesterday but didn’t buy anything although I did find some that ‘fitted’ but I just wasn’t sure so left it.

I bought some eyedrops because my eyes had been stinging because of pollen and found out that you can’t buy medicines with your Boots points, I wasn’t aware of this fact but they are helping my itchy eyes.

Talking of medicines I felt like a pharmacist the other morning, I had to take a tablet for my tummy thing, it was playing me up again, then I had to take my hayfever tablet because Chel goes mental if I sneeze and then I had to rub some steroid cream into my knee because it had gone all itchy but that hasn’t cleared up so I may have to go to the doctors about that.

We’ve had trouble finding a shirt for Chel to wear to graduation, so that has taken up  a few days but I think we are almost there and tomorrow we are going to look in Next and take my suit to the dry cleaners, there’s a mark on the lapel that won’t come out.

Anyway Chel has hiccups so I am going to cure her.

Speak soon

Sam
