Saw Thor 2 last night and it was really awesome. Though what I hate is when you are telling someone that you saw it, they immediately jump up and start screaming not to spoil it. And you’re thinking… um… all I said was that I saw it and liked it. The fukk is your problem?
To me, it’s not a spoiler to say the movie is fairly funny and that Kat Dennings (Darcy) and Tom (Loki) steal the movie with their humor. They are like that. This time around, I did like Loki, he had more character. But this is also in part because of the fangirls.
Let’s look at the differences in fans here:
Male fans: Hmm.. the characters have differences from their norm comic story, but still pretty good. Black Widow looks pretty hot. Hehe.
Female fans: LYKE. O.M.G. Thor’s abs. Like. Wow. Thor and Loki need to have gay sex in a pool of body oil. Like. Yes. Like. Now. Omg.
Granted, this is not every fan, but when several forum boards mention Thor or Loki, it’s brought up how annoying the fangirls are with their questionably weird pair up. For the record, I have yet to come across some guy saying Pepper Potts and Black Widow should have a lesbian pair up.
When I asked a female why they are so into Thor x Loki pairup, they said because it’s obvious how close they are, like lovers.
It’s like…. um. Thor is talking to Loki and treating him as his brother, because that’s how they grew up. As brothers. Yes, they aren’t blood brothers, but still. I ponder to myself, geez, so if a dude is protective of his brother, you’re gonna go all fangirl creep mode and think there is something gay going on?
This is why men should continue to just be barred up with their emotions. Girls get fukken loco as shit.
One big reason I can enjoy this movie too, is because I no longer have several of the fanatical Thor x Loki fangirls on my FB and don’t talk to them. Those I still have, I have them set to only show a few updates.
And note again, this isn’t *EVERY* fangirl and sometimes there is a random fanboy that gets a bit too creepy but in an overall view of it, I encountered far more weirder fangirls.
