I need a legit vacation. How many times do we say that during the year?

I’m a bit upset that my girlfriend would only be able to come here for 4 days during Thanksgiving break. I have practically 10 days off for it. Even worse, is that when we looked at flight tickets, they were $300 and now they’re $500-600. So… I might not even get to see her for Thanksgiving break.

After all this class stuff, it’d be nice to have some time with her but I don’t know if that’s happening now.

I could go there, but, she lives with her mom and sister in an apartment. Do I even have to explain why I don’t care much for this option? Being that it’s Bronx too, getting any hotel to stay at for a few days may cost a fortune atop of the traveling fees.
