school please
So, I never thought I’d be the one to say this but: I just want to go back to school. This whole sitting around the house with nothing to do and no one to talk to thing- it gets old really VERY fast. Stephen is back at work, and Target is going budget only scheduling me in for 4 hours a week. Infact, they’re only scheduling in ALL of their casuals for 4 hours a week and on top of that they plan on hiring another 100 people between now and April when the new store opens. What the hell is up with that! I plan on sticking around, because it’s the perfect job when I’m at school, however I believe if they’re not careful all of their experienced staff are going to quit and find a place where they might actually have some WORK to do. That is why they call it a JOB after all! *sigh* To be honest… I just need something to do. I don’t start school until the 28th of Feb and I’m going crazy sitting around the house all day. Yesterday I spent a good part of the morning online- atleast it keeps me amused- and then I went and watched a made for television movie starring Anne Heche, which was somewhat entertaining for a little while, and then I made chocolate cupcakes. By the time Stephen got home and asked how I was doing, I went totally bananas. I wound up tearing him away from the sports news so that we could go grocery shopping, just so that I could get out of the house. Good god. I need a hobby. What I would like to do is start getting in shape, but the weather is just too hot outside to excercise right now and as we’re trying to save money I can’t be bothered getting a gym membership. I keep telling myself that once I start Uni everything will be back on track and I’ll be eating healthier (healthier? at school? haha…… I can dream) and getting more excercise. The problem is, that doesn’t really assist me in the coming weeks does it? Stephen is going away for 3 weeks come the 16th of Feb, so after that I’m on my own. In fact, he’s missing our 2 year anniversary. Not happy!! Atleast he’s here for Valentines Day, and all going well he should arrive back on the 12th of March- my 24th birthday. Somewhere in between that time his Dad is supposed to be coming to visit. He’s not staying here, but none the less I’m sure it will be akward and weird. After all, I’ve only met the guy once and I’ll have to find some way of keeping conversation going all by myself for however long he chooses to visit the house for. Dinner? Coffee? Do I have to cook for him??? Oy. Sometimes I wish the in- laws lived a little closer to home so that these issues would no longer be so…complicated. They shouldn’t be complicated. Why am I even worried?
I guess that’s all for now. I have nothing left to ramble on about, really. Take care, everyone.
