last minute shopping

word of advice. just dont do it.. im kicking myself for waiting as long as i did to buy my son his xmas gifts.

traffic was a nightmare, almost had an accident, and dont get me started on the shopping centers, i could barely walk it was so crowded at the mall, having to cut corners and squeeze through just to get what you want out of a store is ridiculous.

When i finally made it to the toystore at the mall, i only found ONE thing i knew he would want, pirates of the carribean pirate ship with legos. luckily i had a gift certificate at KB Toys, so it only cost me 10bucks total.

since i didnt find much but one toy there, i went to Toys r Us nearby and found a few things, not exactly what i was looking for, he wanted a transformers toy, they didnt have any more left when i got there. pretty empty,

I got him the Ratatoille (sp?) dvd, a digital camera for kids, a thomas the train art set, an operations board skill game. and i went to the shoe store next door and i bought him some low cut polo boots. they’re pretty cute.

i was planning on getting him Heelys at the mall, but the motherly side of me thought he would bust his a$$ in those shoes lol so i didnt get them.

my dad got him a playstation 3, so he’s set, i wrapped eveything when he went to sleep, so theyre under the tree now, no more worries about that, thank goodness. kinda looking forward to this being over with- and moving with the new years.
