FOUR YEARS OF BLISS!

Lesson: LOVE!

Yes, it was our FOUR YEAR ANNIVERSARY yesterday!  September 9th.  I’ve been looking forward to this!  I can’t think of any other thing I’ve done or had or been apart of (or anything really) for FOUR YEARS!  I mean, I went to high school for 4 years, but I wouldn’t count that bc I hardly went!  But this is something we’ve both fully been apart of since day one.  4 years and we’ve never broken up; never even got close!  We’ve fought, but neither of us ever called it quits.  We’re in this together! 

Four years, that’s a long time. 

We decided not to get each other presents since we’re going to the beach next weekend to really celebrate our anniversary, but I seceretly wanted flowers.  I love flowers, but Mark didn’t get me any and I wasn’t REALLY disappointed bc we AGREED on NO PRESENTS, and yes sadly even flowers.  We went out for a Jap steakhouse dinner because we got a buy-one-get-one-free thingy in the mail and it was delicious!  You almost need that coupoun to go there bc it’s so expensive!  Then when we got home we just sat around the house getting ready for the first NFL game of the season to start (Vikings vs. Saints).  That’s when he gave me the sweetest card.  So sweet it made me cry.  He wrote that he loves spending every second with me and we’ll be together forever.  I loved it.  I kissed him a hundred times!

That’s when I realized I should’ve gotten him a card too with some sweet words in there.  I don’t know why I didn’t.  Guess I took the no presents rule to literal.  Maybe I still will and give it to him while we’re at the beach.  Not a bad idea? 

So out anniversary was short and sweet, like this entry.  I can’t wait for beach/anniversary trip next weekend!
