The best thing in my life is….or the best thing about my life is…

What a hard question to answer!  Two things immediately come to mind.  My wonderful boyfriend and love of my life Mark and God.  What would I do with out either?  Both keep me sane, both are apart of my daily thoughts, both are what makes life worth living.

Lately, I found a new way of getting through the day.  I have daily bible verses and inspirnational book excerpts emailed to me.  I write all the good ones in my calendar so I can look at them and be reminded of them daily.  When I get really fed up and really pissed off at work, I take the little 10 bead metal rosery key chain off my keys and hold it really tight.  I’ll even loop my finger through the middle or put it in my pocket for hours a day and it keeps me stable instead of losing it.  It reminds me and helps me to pray when things aren’t going my way.  It’s much better then just complaining!

This new God thing I have going on is really great!  Ever since I read that Christian book Mark’s mom gave me, I’ve been much more God-ly and I love it!  I was always a religious person, but this book helped me put God into my day in a much bigger way, instead of just before I go to bed.  Now, I find my self praying for strength, confidence, patience… or I just say thank you for bringing such a friendly person through my door and making my day… whatever gets me through the day!

Mark is absolutely the most wonderful person in my life.  He’s always there.  He know’s me better than anyone and we work like clock work together.  We read each other’s minds, sometimes.  He is the person I know I can live and grow with forever.  Though I know it’s not always perfect, that’s when I have to ask God to remind me that no one is perfect, not even me.  He’s the one I’m willing to push and pull with, give and take, yin and yang.  It’s like a dance we perfect over time.  It’s what a relationship is all about!
