place yer bets. and turkey day

I recently purchased a PS2. its this teeny tiny thing. It’s about the size of a paperback or so. or a short hardcover. In any case. the primary purpose of it was to get some exercise, as the only game(s) i purchased are some form of Dance Dance Revolution. Its work okay. highly addictive game, and I’ll usually play for an hour or so. I’m going through attempting to unlock more songs/players and what not.

i’ve also somehow recently been suckered into making bets lately. it all started with a bet that i wouldn’t get any studying done (and wouldn’t get a project done for school either) I made the bet totally thinking that i’d do it, because the exam was that week, and I didn’t have anything else planned for the weekend. But alas, the draw of a king size dark chocolate bar wasn’t enough to motivate me to crack the books (though I did get the project done) I had a whole week (well until thursday) to do the studying.

The bet that I just made was that I wouldn’t wear the shoes I bought over thanksgiving before the week was out. easy peasy. wore them the next day. easiest candy bar to earn ever.

This latest one is gonna be a bitch to complete. I somehow got suckered into betting that I could get my apartment cleaned by 12/9. My apartment is a MESS. and its gotta be the WHOLE darn thing. bathroom, kitchen, living room, bedroom. not that it won’t be a good thing to get the place clean. and i can probably rearrange the place while i’m at it. and sort through the clothes. *sigh* its horrible. you can’t really see the tops of the tables. there’s just stuff EVERYWHERE. *sigh* but i have the WHOLE weekend (though i may be meeting up with a friend for lunch). so here’s hoping that i get it done. cuz i don’t know what the terms of the bet are. like i dunno what my reward for cleaning is (i get to pick) and i dunno what the punishment for not cleaning is (he’s picking). and the person that i made the study bet with wanted in on the bet to. *sigh*

so instead of being a good student and paying attention in class the other day, I wound up making a to do list. this thing is ridiculous. its also a xmas card list and medical expenses, and a shopping list. *sigh* stupidity.

brief thanksgiving recap: went up to NH for the holiday. 6th state in as many years that i’ve had thanksgiving dinner in. how odd. anyway. friday afterwards did the black friday thing. hit up 12 stores or from 5am-3pm. it was insane. and i’m not done xmas shopping yet either. dangit. saturday got to hang out with some hs friends, which is always fun. and saw my best friend from hs and her fiance. was nice to just chill. and it SNOWED which of course, i loved. it was awesome. made getting outta NH a pain, but whatever. SNOW! haha.
