couple of things

Topic 1: my super sweet sixteen

has anyone seen this show? Its freaking amazing what some parents will spend on their kids sweet sixteen party. Some of these parents have spent like upwards of a quarter mil…for a SWEET SIXTEEN PARTY! my GOD! my sweet sixteen party consisted of me and 7 of my friends. we did a “How to Host a Mystery” party. it was so much fun. and cost like maybe $50 (for the game and food and stuff) these kids have DJs and all sorts of crazy crazy things. And they’re all spoiled rotten. now, maybe its just the way that the show is edited, but they all seem like they’re entitled and deserve these lavish parties. like the one girl in la jolla. it did NOT seem like she invited her Roswell friends to her party because she wanted them there because they were her friends and she wanted them there to share the experience. it seemed as though she was totally using them so that they could report back to all the people. the amount of money that got spent on these parties was enough to send them to an excellent, top tier 4 year college. The extremely sad thing is that these kids might go to these schools and just waste the experience because they can just fall back on the trust fund from mummy and daddy. pissed me off. did anyone else have a big sweet 16?

Topic 2: Wonderfalls

alas, like so many other fox shows (family guy, likely arrested development), this one got axed way before its time to go. Wonderfalls is like Joan of Arcadia in that the lead (Jaye) in that they’re both based off of the story of Joan of Arc. They both get talked to by higher beings. But unlike JoA, its alittle bit more spiritually ambiguous, and not as in your face-ish Christian. I recently bought the comlete series DVD, including the 9 unaired episodes. and it they are so awesome. The show was fantastic, clever and just heartbreaking at times. GO OUT AND GET IT. you won’t regret it.

I guess that’s it for the randomness. I just got tickets to go see Maroon 5 in April. very exciting. School is kicking my arse. I’ve got this one class where there is no hw collected, but its assigned. Which of course, means that I don’t ever do it. which means in 2 week, when the first test is handed out, despite the open anything you want to bring in poicy of the professor, i’m majorly screwed.

but that’s about it.

I saw the super sweet sixteen thing. I wanted to cry at the girls’ behavior. I hear that sweet sixteen is a much bigger deal down in the southern states than it is up here, but still! The show is obviously made so that they’ll seem bratty. For my sixteenth birthday, my parents forgot about it (but it wasn’t the end of the world). Still, I tend to have an extra grudge against that show.

I didn’t have a sweet sixteen party! When ever I see richkids, I just want to beat the hell out of them. They think that they can get what ever they want. I hope they end up homeless someday!
