$87.79 + Tax
Well, I’ve been sick this whole week and I’m in a dilly of a pickle.
If I call off once more, I get Terminated AKA Fired.
So, I can safely call two of the girls at work Angles for picking up my Tuesday and Weds.
To explaine, I came into work monday with a high fever, and an extremely sore and bad throat. I could barely talk coherently, and I had to work for 6 hours. Durring my break, I sat down at my desk and told the girls to wake me up in 10 minuets, which the dears did. I ended up taking a little ‘napy’.
So Tuesday rolls around: Voting Day…
Well, I felt worse than ever and I couldn’t TALK well because I had been talking too much on Monday. So I tell dad that I want to go to Urgent Care and he agrees. After all, I’m paying most my medical bills now myself.
I go vote, which was an experience trying to tell the lady where I lived without totally killing my throat, and then I went to Urgent Care next to where Joe lives.
Told the nurse what was going on, that my chest felt tight, my right ear hurt horribly, I could barely talk or swallow, and that my head throbbed as well.
Well, they did a strep test, and that came back negative, so the doctor double checked my temp and all that good stuff and he said “Well, you don’t have strep, but you’ve got some type of bactieria there in your throat, so I’m gonna give you antibiotics.”
Ok, after 30 minuets I was out of Urgent Care and on my way to get my perscriptions refilled.
Now this is the part that pisses me off.
We waited over 40 minuets to have Kroger fill these perscriptions UNDER MY INSURANCE.
Dad asks me how I’m gonna pay for them, and I tell him if it’s over $22.50, which it shouldn’t be because I’ve had these medicens before, I’ll be screwed.
Well, they call our name and TOTAL they end up being 87.79… with tax over $90!!!
>< I am NOT amused by this for any means.
I’ve had all this crap before and it didn’t cost that much! *mutters* It cost almost the same as the Doctor’s visit!!
So now I’ve gotta pay Dad back close to $100 for the medicens
I must admit though, after having what I DID have, it feels great to be much better than I was!! *cheers*
