Its the shows making me lose my mind

Another huge gap in my writing…

I am currently sound designer/assistant stage manager for my university’s production of "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas."  Cool cept the equipment breaks on me every show.  I am running the mic change crew insted of doing ASM work which is driving me nuts.

I am moving from that to being the sound designer of our children’s show "Holiday Hoedown" and probibly "Its a Wonderful Life" as well.  The first one is not too bad as it basically uses the Whorehouse infastructure and I have no idea about the other one.

It has been indicated that they want me to be thinking about the sound designer for our spring show which there seems to be some confusion about what it may be.  It may be a straight play or then again it may not.  I am hearing rumors of another musical and I am not sure if I want to do that again but the professors seem to think I am good for the job after pulling off a miricle with Whorehouse…

Oh yeah and I am in a show as well.  "Railing it Uptown"  althought I haven’t the foggiest idea what I am supposed to be doing yet.

I know the feeling of shows causing huge gaps in writing. Some days you’re just so exhausted that even thinking about writing something is just impossible! Trying to slow down however is also impossible!
