GPA Stresses

So I showed up to campus today not really ready to take my Contempary Middle East final.  I am stressing after missing class yesterday, and dreading its affect on my grades.  So I sit in the office, looking over stuff and getting more worked up. 

I get over to the building and people are asking me if I am going to take the final.  Turns out that yesterday an offer was made.  If you like the average of your previous 3 grades the professor would take that average as yur grade for the final exam.  My 3 grades were an 89, 83 and 93.  Equaling an 88.  Hmmm take a chance at screwing up or take the B+ for the class.  Took the B+ and am finally on summer break.

It took my GPA up to a 2.99.  Which is pretty good considering my GPA at my last school was a 2.43 when I graduated.  Thank goodness for fresh starts.
