Wal-Mart and thinking

Today, I went to Wal-Mart with my Mom to get some stuff. I got water and snacks. Well, I am thinking about how much fun I had at 8th grade graduation in 2001. It was June 8th.It was a half day of school that day for 4th-6th hour finals, and I had Tech School in the afternoon, so the 7th was the last day of Junior Year for me. I took a nap that day, and at about 5:00, I had dinner and changed into my nice clothes, which were the same ones I wore to graduation, but I washed them and had a new pair of stockings on. I then grabbed my Trumpet and headed out the door at 5:30 to get to school. When I got there, I was the first band member there. Some of the orchestra were there already there. I went on stage before I got situated and made like a commentator. I then took pics. I then put my trumpet Together and took pics. Then, Alan came in. When everyone was there, We warmed up and chilled. Julius said he was the goodwill Ambassador. I looked at him strange. When we were waiting to play, the Middle School principal said the class of 2001 wanted their graduation to be a dignified occasion and not to whoop and holler. Then, we played Pomp and Circumstance. I enjoyed the speech from the valedectorian. We then played Glorioso as our selected piece. Then, the assistant principal had the 8th graders in the band and Orchestra come up to graduate first after the salutatorian and Valedectorian. I took lots of pics of the cute and sharp outfits. My fave part of graduation is when The principal anounced the new Freshman class of 2005. they all yelled “9th Grade! 9th Grade!” Then I took a pic of my band teacher in his Tuxedo. afterwards. We got credit on our report cards. More later!

Girl Power!!
