The recital was great

The recital was good. I enjoyed it. Everyone liked my dances, especially Tap, where we had a kickline. Everyone cheered at the finale. The backstage moms had to keep everyone quiet backstage. Everyone in my Jazz class used my glitter. One girl in my Jazz and Tap class had to change quick to go to her Ballet class from Tap class, which were 2 dances apart. She should have had a quick change, but they said quick changes were for people that had back to back dances or a dance between their dances, like, if you took Ballet and Tap, and there was a Jazz class in the middle. You’d just go into the room after your ballet dance and change into your Tap costume and go to your class. My tap teacher gave us all a hug and a “break a leg” before we went on. I gave everyone a “Break a sweat”, which is what a girl in my Jazz/Ballet class said a couple of years ago. For Jazz, we lined up in order: Pre Jazz, Jazz 2 and Jazz 3-4. after I changed into my Tap costume, I chilled and got water. One of the girls brought Air freshener. I touched up my makeup and i chilled during Intermission. My Tap class did well. Our music started late and ended early, but we went on. They didn’t give us our headpieces. Well, Everyone was surprised when they saw the whole academy at the end of the concert, and doubly surprised when they saw the staff,Teachers, crew, Pre Pro 1 and 2 classes and Junior and 2nd company and the Executive and artistic directors. We did good. Awards day is in June, so I’ll order a video there. More later!

Girl Power!!

I’m glad to hear that it all went well for you. Wow, you’re a pretty active person! That’s cool, I admire that in somebody. The more active you are, the more you get out of life I think (and the more trouble you stay out of!) Thanks for stopping by my diary…talk to you later. Smiles. -Liz aka:
