Sunday Party-coming soon

I’m mega tired! It’s almost 8 am on Saturday and I wish I could sleep a bit longer. It’s so grey-bluish outside and even though my road is a busy one, full of shops etc. now is quiet and almost empty. Despite greys and blues I like Saturdays…even if I have to work I still feel different about this day.

It’s so busy these days…tomorrow I’m making a small party Hahahahaha in my tiny studio. I figure that few of us will have to seat on the blanket on the floor as there won’t be enough space on the bed.

I’m organizing my and my cousin’s name day…combined with my far too early birthday. And next Sunday my cousin organizes her early birthdays and her daughter’s. We decided to do it this way as later in November we will be traveling and now is the only time when we can do it properly and together….well if seating on the floor and trying to eat by balancing your plate on your knees is a proper way to party;)

I think my mum is a bit nervous about my (only mine) cooking, she called me early in the week and said that she can make stuff like meat, salads, pasta etc. as my place is too small and too difficult to cook anyway. She said I can only make some starters and she will bring the rest….hehe. I’m fine with that..and I know that my mum will enjoy doing it, she loves to cook for people and I know I will hurt her if I said no. As I’m not into cooking much I didn’t even argue with her anyway 😉

The idea is to do a lunch-buffet. I will spread the whole food on my desk, so everyone will just put food on their plate and eat…..seating wherever they want 😉 My friend is coming too with bag full of cakes, she works on Sundays at the organic market and said that they always through away a lot of cakes, so she will bring them here instead LOL. Maybe this party will be a good opportunity to dust off my camera and finally take some photos of my flat 🙂
