Sun and Bridesmaid dresses

We have a sun and warm weather!!!! Hurrey!!! I’ve been sooo annoyed with the cold weather we had until this week. It didn’t feel like spring at all. So, I’m so glad it’s warm!

Yesterday I worked for 9 hours. I had an energy but today I felt a pain in my lower back, maybe because at work I had to bend often. I like this work, it’s with textile designs and is interesting, but it’s a hard work.

I finished 8.30 and despite the fact that I was tired instead of taking the bus I went to the Thames river and had a beautiful walk there. I think I needed to be by myself and just walk and be quiet.

Walking there always calm me down…I used to go there each time I had some problem or when I needed to be alone, so now when I’m there I can remember all those times, my problems at that time etc. I discovered that the periods when I had problems I see now in a more positive way, I guess time make us see the past in a more colorful way, at least this is in my case.

I was glad I went there and I know I need it but I arrived home quite late, my niece was already asleep.

I had a good laugh with my cousin. Our bridesmaid dresses that we bought on Amazon (yeah!) have arrived and we tried them on. Gosh, we both looked like…I don’t have words to explain how we looked like but it won’t be anything positive. The dresses on Amazon looked beautiful, in the reality they were horrible! A piece of cheap material, bad tailoring, horrible colours (not like on the website) and mine was one size too large!

Anyway, trying them on and looking at ourselves in the mirror was ….just funny. Of course we’re going to send them back. Now we have a problem, we need to look for the dresses….the 3rd bridesmaid who is in Italy bought a strange dress and we have to now find something to match with her. She bought a short, dark navy, lace sort of dress, it’s nice but it’s in a completely different mood, not what we were expecting. We wanted something longer or more chiffon, lighter in texture….and in lighter colours.
