Gertrude Stein was a big fan of diagramming: “I really do not know that aything has ever been more exciting than diagramming sentences. I like feeling the everlasting feeling of sentences as they diagram themselves.”

I’m a BIG GEEK cuz I felt like that in school. When they taught us that, I thought it was like a whole new world opened up to me. I “see” words… like when I meet someone, I ask how their name is spelled. I LOVE the English language and hope to take college courses about it someday. Were I to follow the “original” plan, I was going to minor in it. Thanks for the info! Happy Hump Day!
