update (baby news)

It’s 4:40 am and I am having one of those soon to be rare quiet moments. Sooo, here’s the skinny on the baby.. (in case you don’t know yet!)

Samantha Piper Allys (pronounced Alice) was born at 5:16am on October 4th. She weighed 6 lbs 11 oz and was 20 in long. We’re callin her Piper. It fits. 🙂

What a weird entry for me to be posting. I can’t believe I have a new baby. I’m doing ok right now. Pretty sore and exhausted but I suspect that’ll fade in a few days. She was having a hard time adjusting to being home last night. I put her in bed with me finally about 1 am and she’s still sleeping peacefully. She’s so freakin tiny that it’s hard for me to believe that she’s real! lol I know 6lbs11oz doesn’t seem small but believe me, she is! She looks like this teeny little porcelain doll. Well, until she starts screaming for food or poops everywhere. lol

Alright, I’m gonna go lay back down and try to get a little more sleep. Talk to all at a later date!
