lucia micarelli

I don’t typically like violin, but I really enjoy listening to lucia micarelli. Heard of her while listening to josh groban live dvd. Bought micarelli’s cd and I love it. I am listening to it now. Typically I like brass, low brass, high brass, particularly fond of the flugelhorn or tpt. Dau and hub play tpt. Son plays tbone. Dau and hub are in NY playing tpt now. Well, they are sleeping now cuz they are on eastern time, but this weekend they will be playing with the Candian Brass. What an opportunity.

I wanted to go, but I am glad I did not. I would still LOVE to see the concert, and hear it, but I am AOK with not. They got there and were tired. Went to bed and hit it hard the first day there, going on a helicopter ride, seeing Niagara Falls, etc, etc. Really packed their day. They planned to go hang gliding today, but didn’t cuz it rained and dau got a headache. Poor kid. So, they probably took it easy today. It happens.

Got my computer program a long ways today. Forgot to leave it on for the techie to come in and do something, so I will have to run out there tomorrow or some time so he can do that. From Maine no less. I am on Mountain Time, and they are Eastern time. He is on the same time zone as dau and hub. LOL!

The techie that came out here today frustrates me. She is kind of a know-it-all that pretends not to be. I dunno. I pretend to just go along with whatever she says and tell her what the guy in Maine did and why. She said something today that such and such should be attached to the item number, and I said, no it attaches itself to the sales order. We did that intentionally so we could communicate variations to the plant without having a billion item numbers. Anyway, she said, no that wouldn’t be it. I said, well, that is what we asked him to do. I was in another room, kind of saying it as I walked through, and later she said, yeah, you are right, that is how it is set up. Uh huh. I am not ignorant. I have done this for how long now. I have done nothing but work on this silly program since January. It is now July and it is coming to fruition. Still a long ways from being as helpful as we would like, but it will accomplish some pretty important things for our co. Some things that have NOT been taken care of for years.

I am not at work, why am I thinking about it? Because I forgot to leave my computer on for my favorite techie. Sorry guy.

Dau was concerned because her guy friend is in EUrope and he could have been in London when these bombings occurred. The poor ppl of England. First the IRA, now al-Quiada. They get no peace.

Well, our world needs a lot of prayer. If people don’t bend their knees, things will not get better. There are so many theories of what the future holds. You know what? I don’t know what the future holds, but I know WHO holds it! Praise the Lord!
