These are the days….

I watched a beautiful sunset yesterday.  I guess nothing really compares with home.  I’ve traveled the entire westside of the United States (from louisiana on west), and i’ve never seen such beautiful sunsets.  The sky was orange and the clouds were tinted a bright red for as far as you can see.  I miss watching the sunsets from Turpin stadium.  Sitting at the very top of the student section, by where the football team comes out for the starting of the game, you can see the most beautiful sight i’ve seen in all of my days.  I guess there really is no place like home.  I’ll be an old man someday sittin in my rocker probably in a nursing home of some sort, watching sunsets and rain storms….while drinking in the sunset as though it were the last one i’ll ever see.  But, that’s later.  Now is the time to live, to learn and be happy with the sack of rocks life trys to throw my way.  As i grin and toss a few right back. 

Career will be starting soon, or lack-thereof.  I’m coming up on my last year of college, guess it’s time to throw away the games and start playing hardball in the competitive job market.  I’m just another face in the world, trying to make a difference. Wish me luck.
